[When available.] APRIL 2008 April 5th - 2nd Annual Central Valley 10k sponsored by Runner’s Paradise and the Hawaii Elite Track Team…..This second annual event starts and ends at the Maui Humane Society. Registration at 6AM ….Race start 7AM….followed by refreshments and medals. Proceeds benefit the Maui Humane Society. Early registration (before 03/29 $25 Adults, $20 under 18. Race Day $30 adults, $25 under 18. Packet pickup 04/04 at Runners’ Paradise, Maui Mall 4-8:00PM. Entry forms available at Maui Humane Society, Runner’s Paradise and The Pet Shop at Maui Mall April 13th Mobile Adoption at Queen Kaahumanu Center 11-2PM April 22nd –Earth Day-Drop off your Hawaii 5 Bottles and Cans at MHS and get a 15% discount at our Creature Comforts Store Earth Day ~ Recycle 4 MHS!!! DATE: Saturday, April 19th and Tuesday, April 22nd TIME: 10am - 4pm LOCATION: Maui Humane Society MORE: Earth Day is just around the corner and we at the Maui Humane Society can't think of a better way to take care of our environment than RECYCLING!!! Did you know that you can help our environment AND our orphaned animals at the same time??? Thanks to our friends at Aloha Recycling, supporters of MHS can bring their recyclable HI-5 cans and bottles to the shelter's collection container or directly to Aloha Recycling and donate their redemption funds to the Maui Humane Society. In honor of Earth Day and with many thanks to our supporters, for every load of recyclable HI-5 cans and bottles brought to the shelter, you will receive a 15% discount coupon good in our retail store AND one entry blank in a drawing for a helicopter tour of Maui or Molokai! A wonderful way to celebrate the beauty of our island home and really get a "bird's eye view"! So, please, join MHS in celebrating Earth Day!
