Humane Education - For Teachers & Schools “Children trained to extend justice, kindness, and mercy to animals become more just, kind and considerate in the relations with others. Character training along these lines in youth will result in men and women of broader sympathies, more humane, more law-abiding, in every respect more valuable citizens.” National PTA Congress 1983 The Maui Humane Society offers both in-house shelter tours and classroom presentations. We custom fit each presentation to meet your needs, Hawaii’s State Teaching Standards as well as Character Education. Presentation time ranges from 20 to 60 minutes.
