VENDORS ~ Bark In The Park 2009


Aloha and Mahalo nui for your interest in participating at Bark in the Park 2009 ~ a Walk for the Animals and Benefit Concert! This year’s event is going to be bigger and better than last year! We’re so happy that you’d like to join us and help raise money for Maui’s orphaned pets!

Below you’ll find information and requirements to participate as a vendor at Bark in the Park 2009.

When: Saturday, August 15th, 2009
8am – 4pm
Where: (we are currently in the permitting process with Kalama Park, Kihei)
Set-up: 6:00 – 7:30am (some vendors may be allowed to set up on Friday evening, August 14th, if necessary)
** All vendors will be required to remove their vehicles from the field no later than 7:40am – no exceptions **


Types of possible vendors:

Crafter/Service:
There is a required $125 vendor fee to participate at the event. We encourage all craft/service vendors to donate a percentage of your profits to MHS to help raise money for our animals. This percentage is, of course, at your discretion.

Non-profit Organizations:
Non-profit organizations are required to provide a $125 refundable event deposit to ensure event participation. Non-profits are not allowed to sell merchandise.

All donations for this event are tax deductible.


Cancellation Policy:
MHS is invoking a 72-hour cancellation policy for Bark in the Park 2009. If the need to cancel does arise, we ask you do so a minimum of 72-hours before the event for a full refund of vendor fee or deposit. If canceling within the 72-hours prior to the event, no refunds will be issued.

We recommend the following:
  • Bring a tent (10’ x 10’ – unless otherwise agreed upon) – it will be warm, extra shade is always nice!
  • The venue does not have electricity. If you require power, please bring your own generator.
  • Please bring everything you’ll need for your booth set-up, including tables, chairs and displays.
  • We suggest that all vendors provide one door prize item to be given away at sometime during the day.
