Come celebrate the human-animal bond with the Maui Humane Society on Saturday, August 15th!
Maui Humane Society’s “Bark in the Park 2009 ~ a Walk for the Animals” is a pet-friendly, family- and community-oriented event
that includes a walk-a-thon, contests, demonstrations, door prizes, Keiki Land, food and pet-related vendors and much more!
New for 2009, Bark in the Park will feature a Benefit Concert into the afternoon.
Bark in the Park will be changing venues this year! We are currently in the permitting process with Kalama Park in Kihei.
We are very excited to be in Kalama Park, as the setting and atmosphere feel more appropriate for this
wonderful event. We anticipate more visibility, attendance and opportunity!
We need YOU to help us make this celebration of Maui’s animals a huge success!

Shaggy from Q103 will be keeping things rolling throughout the morning, along with games, contests, pet
demonstrations and more!
JoJo will bring us through the afternoon with fabulous music from local bands!
